WOULD YOU LIVE HERE?

I have lived in some strange places, having had a Southern Baptist minister for a dad who uprooted us every two years, and my ex- spouses being of a very different cultures/races than mine. So I asked myself, would I live in these nutty places? Probably not, so would you be brave enough?

I'd love to visit those houses, but to live in them? I don't think so. I'd be interested to see how those houses look inside though.

Thanks for sharing.

ralwus 2 years ago

Not interested. Too offbeat for my taste and some are just too small.

Bizarre, yet fascinating. A couple of them looked like they barely escaped the wrath of a tornado! My favorite was the house in Pennsylvania with the waterfall by far. Who wouldn't want to live there?

Crazy houses! Tom and I would SO live in that upside-down house, and the one that looks like it was cracked down the middle...but then, we're a little upside-down and cracked ourselves, so they just fit our personalities, hahaha!

Great hub and wonderful pics!

Oh, I almost forgot--isn't the FallingWater house one that Frank Lloyd Wright designed??? It really looks familiar.

Great hub! Yes, Fallingwater is one of my fav's. I have A Frank Lloyd Wright hub in case anyone is interested. I have showcased many of these in various hubs I've done, but you absolutely found some great ones I hadn't seen. Cool architecture just does something to me. :)

Nice. Its amazing what people will come up with, with a little creativity, money and spare time. Never live normal if you don't have to!

nice to see you visited Lee....I knew everyone would like the Fallingwater one...it's not really weird, just neat.

Wow, these range from really cool to really bizarre. I would definately take the waterfall one, it was incredibly beautiful and the Nautilus House is stunning. 've always wanted a tree house like the one in Swiss Family Robinson.

These are really cool. Some of these (like that one Asian-looking house on the rock) are not real, I think. Something that precarious probably would have fallen into the water long ago.

Fallingwater is also known as "Falling Apart." Being set right over the water means it is VERY damp and cold, and constantly in need of extremely expensive repairs. No resident has ever really liked living there as a result

I never saw so many interesting homes, amazing what the human mind can think of. I can't imagine actually living in most of them, like from some other planet. Thanks for sharing! Voted Up and Interesting!

These houses are so much fun...and amazing. There is a mushroom house in the woods in my home town. People used to take their Sunday drives by it, just to get a glimpse.
