The Spaceship House, in Chattanooga (TN, USA).

The Teapot Dome, in Zillah (WA, USA). (near where I was raised!)

The Boeing 727 House, in Benoit (Mississippi, USA). The plane set Joanne Ussary back $2,000.00, cost $4,000.00 to move, and $24,000.00 to renovate.

The Toilet-shaped house, in Suwon (South Korea). Lends new meaning to calling your house a true shit-hole!

The Mushroom House, in Cincinnati (Ohio, USA).

this is actually pretty, situated in Mexico, The Nautilus House, is a seashell-inspired abode built by designed by Senosiain Arquitectos for a couple. I don't know how practical it would be with all my kids and pets though...

The Upside-Down House, in Szymbark (Poland). The house was created by Daniel Czapiewski to describe the former communist era and the present times in which we live.

The Cube houses, in Rotterdam (Holland). There are thee floors to each house.

This is gorgeous...I can see my baby sis living in this mansion...The Fallingwater, in Pennsylvania (USA).

The Steel House, in Lubbock (Texas, USA). Architect and sculptor Robert Bruno spent 23 years building this strange home that looks like a giant pig out of 110 tons of steel. I think I will visit this place which isn't too far from me...

The design of the House on the Stick was inspired by highway billboards . The house is rather small. It is only 27 square meters (290 square feet) and as such it is not intended to be a family residence.

I'd love to visit those houses, but to live in them? I don't think so. I'd be interested to see how those houses look inside though.

Bizarre, yet fascinating. A couple of them looked like they barely escaped the wrath of a tornado! My favorite was the house in Pennsylvania with the waterfall by far. Who wouldn't want to live there?

Crazy houses! Tom and I would SO live in that upside-down house, and the one that looks like it was cracked down the middle...but then, we're a little upside-down and cracked ourselves, so they just fit our personalities, hahaha!

Great hub! Yes, Fallingwater is one of my fav's. I have A Frank Lloyd Wright hub in case anyone is interested. I have showcased many of these in various hubs I've done, but you absolutely found some great ones I hadn't seen. Cool architecture just does something to me. :)

Wow, these range from really cool to really bizarre. I would definately take the waterfall one, it was incredibly beautiful and the Nautilus House is stunning. 've always wanted a tree house like the one in Swiss Family Robinson.

These are really cool. Some of these (like that one Asian-looking house on the rock) are not real, I think. Something that precarious probably would have fallen into the water long ago.

Fallingwater is also known as "Falling Apart." Being set right over the water means it is VERY damp and cold, and constantly in need of extremely expensive repairs. No resident has ever really liked living there as a result

These houses are so much fun...and amazing. There is a mushroom house in the woods in my home town. People used to take their Sunday drives by it, just to get a glimpse.
