You Don't Have To Be An Accused Killer To Amputate Your Penis

On June 23,2009, Skylar Deleon, formally from the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, began his trial for murdering a couple on a yacht in 2004.

During his indictment, he plead not guilty to both charges of murder and murder for financial gain. The victims were at sea with Deleon during a test cruise for the boat that Deleon had showed interest in. The yacht was being sold for $440,000.

Deleon's accomplices, Alonso Machain and John Kennedy, tried to force the couple, Jackie and Thomas Hawks of Prescott, Arizona, to sign over ownership of the boat. However, when that plot failed, Deleon reportedly chained the couple to anchors and tossed them overboard while still alive. It is presumed that they drowned, though their bodies were never recovered.

At the time of the murders, Deleon was married to Jennifer Henderson. She was convicted in 2006 of two counts of murder and murder for financial gain and sentenced to two terms of life in prison without the possibility of parole. She was suspected of bleaching the yacht after the killing and bribing a notary to backdate paperwork to transfer ownership of the boat.

A year before the killings, in 2003, Deleon was suspected of slitting the throat of a man he met in a work furlough program while in jail for burglary. Prosecutors believe Deleon tossed the man's body in Mexico after robbing him of $50,000. The jury will be considering this murder charge in a separate case. Deleon pleaded not guilty to that charge.

Deleon's legal woes don't end there. He is also charge with soliciting the killings of his father and cousin after believing that they had information about his alleged role in the Hawks' killings. This third case will also be tried separately and the cousin plans to testify against Deleon.

Last year, in July, Deleon nearly severed his penis off with a razor blade. He was hospitalize in a mental ward following the incident. Deleon's penis was miraculously reattached and he was returned to jail immediately after th surgery.

Deleon's only acting experience was his non-speaking role in 'Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.'
